If Practice Management Services is not the route for you, Practice Management Solutions also offers medical billing services that are designed based on the needs of the practice. We are looking for providers who need help getting their billing processes back on track. Our full service medical billing services include electronic and paper claims filing and coding to primary, secondary, and tertiary payers. It also includes claims tracking, payment posting, and A/R follow-up. We process claims electronically to all carriers that currently accept electronic submission. Payers that do not accept electronic submission will be sent via paper. We will then follow-up with insurance carriers and/or our clearinghouse to assure claims have been accepted. We will forward secondary claims upon receipt of primary’s EOB. We will post all payments and track all claims that have gone unpaid beyond 30 days. If a denial claim requires an appeal, we will submit the denial within the time period allotted and follow-up on the status of the appeal.  If a denial claim requires medical documentation to support the claim, we will submit all required documentation with and handle all necessary follow-up.

Our medical billing services also include generating patient statements on a monthly basis. We provide a “soft “collection method for patients consisting of letters and telephone calls if necessary.

Practice Management Solutions also provides accounts receivable services with our billing services to include contacting the insurance carriers to determine claim status. If a claim was never received, never paid, or is not on file, the claim will be resubmitted to the insurance carrier. Follow-up will be performed per claim status. Claims requiring medical records will have the records attached to it and resubmitted. All claims sent to the insurance carriers during the re-bill project will be sent directly to the claims manager. We also advise physicians on any changes in HCFA requirements, CPT, and ICD-10 coding to achieve claim compliance for the fullest reimbursement for the services performed.
